The Guide to All the Richard Mille RM 67-02
Richard Mille RM 67-02: Iconic Models, Athlete Editions, and Insights into Their Value on the Secondary Market
Since its inception in 2001, Richard Mille has been distinguished by a revolutionary approach to watchmaking. Its watches represent perhaps one of the most significant examples of innovation and technological development in the entire watchmaking industry. Each creation is designed to be extremely light and comfortable, yet able to withstand extreme stresses, thanks to the use of advanced materials inspired by the automotive and aerospace industries.
he RM 67-02 represents a perfect synthesis of these characteristics. An evolution of the previous RM 67-01, this model is distinguished by its sporty design and ultra-thin case, making it one of the maison's lightest watches weighing only 32 grams.
Already with the RM 67-01, the house had the intention of making a watch strongly linked to the world of sports, creating an object capable of “merging” with the athlete. For this reason, lightness, thinness and resistance were the main prerogatives. The RM 67-02 continues on this path, thanks to the use of distinctive materials such as Quartz TPT and Carbon TPT, a skeletonized dial made from a thin sheet of titanium, and the self-winding CRMA7 caliber with a 50-hour power reserve.
Aesthetically, the design is eye-catching, and each version is dedicated to a different sportsman, with colors recalling the national flag of the athlete to whom the watch is dedicated.
RM 67-02 Wayde Van Niekerk
Unveiled in 2017, this model is dedicated to South African sprinter Wayde Van Niekerk, Olympic gold medalist in the 400 meters at Rio 2016 and current record holder for the 400-meter flat with a time of 43"03, set during that event.

At the moment the secondary market prefers this model over the Wayde Van Niekerk, in fact in this case the price is slightly above €260,000.
RM 67-02 Alexis Pinturault
The case, made of Quartz TPT is white, the crown is red and the strap is blue, going to build a color combination that echoes the French flag. This is a color choice that will return again and again in future models, in fact the colors of the various versions are chosen according to the nationality of the athletes to whom the watch is dedicated.
Introduced in 2018, along with models for Sébastien Ogier, Alexander Zverev and Fernando Alonso, this model is dedicated to French skier Alexis Pinturault, winner of three Olympic medals between the 2014 and 2018 editions.
