Track Your Collection on WatchAnalytics
Easily monitor the value of your collection, compare purchase and market prices and follow trends in real time
This Monday I am bringing you an article a little different than usual. We are not going to talk about new releases or market analysis, but about a new feature we have released for free on WatchAnalytics.io for all you enthusiasts.
In the introduction of our last 2024 article, I mentioned to you that this year would be full of new features. Well, this is just the first in a long series!
After months of work and optimizations, we are happy to announce the launch of the user section on our site.
To register, simply choose a username, enter your email and create a password, or log in directly with Google. Once you have registered, you will have access to the ability to create and manage your personal collection.
We have designed this feature with maximum flexibility in mind: you can create a single collection in which to collect all your timepieces, or you can subdivide your watches into multiple collections depending on, for example, brand, material, or type.
To upload your watch into the collection, you must enter the date of purchase and the amount paid. The system will automatically calculate market performance against the initial price, giving you an immediate overview of what your purchase is worth today.
A practical example
Imagine you purchased a Royal Oak 15500ST in June 2023 for €23,875. Even with the market decline in recent years, you would be making almost +84% today.
This is the new card of the watch you have bought, the one-year performance in the market is shown at the top, and the performance of your purchase is calculated below.
What if, in addition to the Royal Oak, you were lucky enough to buy a Daytona for €34,000 in april 2023 and a GMT “Pepsi” for €16,780 in November 2024?
Looking at the current market, the total value of the three watches is is about €31k higher than the total amount I spent to buy the three timepieces.
With this feature, you will not only be able to track the performance of each individual piece, but it will also create an overall graph of how all your timepieces are performing overall.
The “Favourites” section
We have also introduced a “Favourites” section, where you can save your grail watches to keep track of their market value at all times.
A new step in our growth
This is just one of the many new features we are working on to make WatchAnalytics better and comprehensive for watch enthusiasts. We hope you enjoy this new feature and, most importantly, that it will be useful for you.
We want to thank you because it is because of your support that WatchAnalytics continues to grow and evolve, constantly improving the quality of the services we can offer you.
